The competition

The Slavic Spirits Competition includes the awarding of rating medals based on the scores achieved during the evaluation conducted by the competition jury. This process is carried out on the basis of submitted contest samples. In addition, at regular intervals, a tournament is organized in which spirits compete against each other within their respective categories.
The rating

Rating medals are awarded continuously based on the competition samples submitted. Depending on the circumstances, samples may be sent for remote evaluation, allowing judges to taste and assess them from the comfort of their own homes, or evaluated during on-site sessions. The jury is carefully selected to match each product category.

The Category Medal is awarded exclusively to the top three producers in each category – those who reach the podium. The evaluation process involves a meticulous assessment of products across multiple categories by the competition jury. Only the three highest-scoring products in each category receive the Category Medal, representing a prestigious distinction and a testament to their exceptional character. This medal not only celebrates the highest standards in spirit production but also highlights leaders among their peers, enabling consumers to easily identify the best and most highly regarded products on the market.

The rating medals
Our award system features three distinguished levels:
Gold Medal – for products achieving an outstanding average score of 8.5/10 or higher,
Silver Medal – for products scoring an excellent 7.5/10 on average,
Bronze Medal – for products reaching a commendable average score of 6.5/10.
The Category medals
Our award system features three distinguished levels:
Amber Medal – for the category winner
Dimond Medal – for the second best product
Agate Medal – for the third best product
There may be only three medalists per category each year.

The Participation

Every producer, company, or enthusiast can submit their product to our competition and receive a prestigious rating. We welcome both businesses operating in the spirits industry and private individuals who wish to have product evaluated. For submissions from private individuals, samples will be assessed as far as technical possibilities and sample availability allow. We ensure full transparency – both the person submitting the sample and the producer will be informed of the evaluation results. You do not need to be the producer of a particular spirit to submit it for rating.
